It is classified as a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk, belonging to the family Hygromiidae, which is the group containing hairy snails and their close relatives. This species has been recorded occurring in two European countries: Ukraine and France. The eggs of this species measure 1.7 × 2 millimeters in size. During mating, individuals of this snail species both produce and use love darts.
