Peperomia glabella, commonly called cypress peperomia or wax privet, is a plant species belonging to the genus Peperomia in the family Piperaceae. Its native distribution extends from southern North America to central South America. The species has three recognized varieties: the autonymous Peperomia glabella var. glabella, plus Peperomia glabella var. nudipetiolata (Trel. & Yunck.) and Peperomia glabella var. obtusa (Steyerm.).
