Penthicodes pulchella Guérin-Méneville, 1838, commonly referred to as Penthicodes pulchellus, is a planthopper species that belongs to the subfamily Aphaeninae of the family Fulgoridae. This species can be found in southern India, Indo-China, and Malesia. It is classified under the subgenus Ereosoma Kirkaldy, 1906. The genus Penthicodes was previously treated as a feminine gender. In 2022, the genus was revised to masculine gender, in accordance with ICZN Article 30.1.4.4. This revision changed the accepted spelling of this species' name from pulchella to pulchellus.
