Penthesilea sacculalis Ragonot, 1890 is a species of moth in the Pyralidae family. It occurs naturally in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, North Carolina, Virginia, and Arizona. This moth has a wingspan that measures 13–17 mm, or 0.51–0.67 inches. Its forewings range in color from dark brown to fuscous; the basal angle is occasionally overscaled with reddish-brown, and the base of the forewing is darker than its distal portion. The moth's hindwings are also colored dark brown to fuscous.
