About Pelargonium quercifolium (L.fil.) L'Hér.
Pelargonium quercifolium (L.fil.) L'Hér. is a densely branching shrub that easily grows over one meter tall, and is taller than it is wide. Young stems are soft, covered in green hairs, and become woody as the plant ages. Its glandular leaves are sticky and aromatic, and are divided into 5 or 7 stiff, coarsely toothed lobes. The inflorescence is an umbel that holds up to 10 flowers; each flower has five petals up to 2.5 centimeters long. The flowers are pink with darker pink markings. Depending on the local climate, Pelargonium quercifolium can be grown as a houseplant or an outdoor perennial plant. Its highly aromatic leaves can be used in products such as potpourri.
