Pediomelum argophyllum, also known by the synonym Psoralea argophylla, has the common name silverleaf Indian breadroot. It is a species of legume belonging to the plant family Fabaceae. This species is native to the central United States, and also to the three Canadian prairie provinces: Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. In its natural habitat, Pediomelum argophyllum grows as a perennial forb.
