About Pedicia albivitta Walker, 1848

Pedicia albivitta, commonly known as the giant eastern crane fly, is a species of hairy-eyed crane fly that belongs to the family Pediciidae. This species is extremely similar in appearance to Pedicia goldsworthyi. Only male individuals of the two species can be distinguished from one another, by examining their genitalia.
