Pecten fumatus, commonly known as the commercial scallop, is a bivalve species that is part of Pectinidae, the scallop family. It is endemic to Australia, with a distribution ranging from Keppel Bay and Swain Reefs in Queensland, extending southward around southern Australia (including Tasmania) and reaching as far west as North West Cape, Western Australia. This species is the target of a dredge fishery operating in the Bass Strait off southern Australia.
