Paysonia lescurii (A.Gray) O'Kane & Al-Shehbaz typically grows 6 to 12 inches (15 to 30 cm) tall. It produces small yellow flowers that measure approximately 0.6 inches (1.5 cm) wide, with each flower having four petals. The flowers are arranged in racemes that can reach up to 8 inches (20 cm) in length. Its stems branch out from the base and are covered in dense hairs. The basal leaves of the species are 1 to 3 inches (3 to 8 cm) long and pinnately lobed. The smaller leaves that grow on the stems are alternate, simple, have toothed to shallowly lobed margins, and feature clasping bases.
