Patrinia scabiosifolia, commonly known as eastern valerian or golden lace, is a species of flowering plant belonging to the family Caprifoliaceae. Its native range includes southeastern Siberia, Mongolia, the Russian Far East, most of China, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, and the Ryukyu Islands, and it has been introduced to Irkutsk. In Japan, it is counted among the popular Seven Flowers of Autumn. It is a spreading perennial, and is readily available for commercial purchase.
