Patella rustica, commonly known as the Lusitanian limpet or rustic limpet, is a species of sea snail. It is classified as a true limpet, and is a marine gastropod mollusk that belongs to Patellidae, one of the families of true limpets. This intertidal species lives on rocky shores, and is distributed throughout the Mediterranean Sea and the northeastern Atlantic Ocean, ranging from Mauritania to southern France.
