Passiflora porophylla Vell. is an evergreen vine belonging to the passion flower family, Passifloraceae. It is native to eastern Brazil. Its leaves are two or three-lobed, and are highly variable in size. Leaves are wider than they are long, measuring 2–12.2 cm in length and 3.6–16.6 cm in width. The upper surface of leaves is green, while the lower surface is often covered in a vinous-glaucous coating. In some cultivars, leaves may have distinct bold pale or dark purple markings.
