Parupeneus barberinoides, commonly called the bicolor goatfish, is a species of goatfish that is native to the western Pacific Ocean. It lives on coral reefs and occurs at depths ranging from 1 to 40 metres, which equals 3.3 to 131.2 feet. This species can grow to a total length of 30 centimetres, or 12 inches, though most individuals only reach around 20 centimetres, or 7.9 inches, in total length. It is a commercially important species, and it is also sold in the aquarium trade.
