Parietaria debilis G.Forst. is an annual herb that grows to a height of 7 to 40 centimetres. It produces green or white flowers, with individual plants bearing both perfect and imperfect flowers. This species is native to Australia and New Zealand. In Australia, it is widespread across temperate regions and occurs in every state and territory. It prefers well-drained sites, and grows especially in calcareous soils.
