Paranthrene robiniae, commonly called the western poplar clearwing, is a moth species that belongs to the family Sesiidae. Its distribution ranges from Alaska south along the Pacific Coast to southern California, extending through the Rocky Mountains into the desert southwest, and reaches as far east as Kansas and North Dakota. It can be found at elevations from sea level up to near the timber line.
