The Tasmanian blenny, scientifically known as Parablennius tasmanianus, is a species of combtooth blenny. Its distribution ranges from the eastern Indian Ocean around Australia to the Southwest Pacific around New Zealand. This species can grow to a total length of 13 centimetres, which is equivalent to 5.1 inches. It is a herbivore that feeds mainly on algae. The Tasmanian blenny is commonly found around man-made structures like jetties, and also inhabits tidal pools.
