About Parablechnum minus (R.Br.) Gasper & Salino
Parablechnum minus (R.Br.) Gasper & Salino, also known by the synonym Blechnum minus, is a small fern. It grows in moist locations across a variety of habitats in eastern Australia, and is frequently found growing alongside streams. This species was first formally described in scientific literature in 1810, when it was published as Stegania minor in Robert Brown's Prodromus Florae Novae Hollandiae. Robert Brown was a prolific Scottish botanist. After its initial description, the species was first transferred to the genus Blechnum, and later moved to the genus Parablechnum.
