Packera macounii, with the scientific name Packera macounii (Greene) W.A.Weber & Á.Löve, is a species of flowering plant in the aster family. Its common name is Siskiyou Mountains ragwort. This species is native to the west coast of North America, ranging from British Columbia down to far northern California. It grows in chaparral and mountain forests, and is most often found on serpentine soils. It is a perennial herb that grows one erect stem, reaching a maximum height of 40 to 50 centimeters. It grows from a taproot and a branching caudex unit. Its texture is slightly hairy to quite woolly. Its leaves have lance-shaped blades several centimeters long, and these blades are carried on long petioles. The inflorescence holds several flower heads, which contain many disc florets. Most flower heads hold either 8 or 13 yellow ray florets, each around a centimeter long.
