Packardia elegans, commonly known as the elegant tailed slug moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Limacodidae. This species is found in Canada and the United States. It has been recorded in woodlands and forests, with a range extending from north-eastern Missouri to Quebec and Maine, and reaching south to north-eastern Georgia. The forewings of Packardia elegans measure 10–12 mm in length. Its larvae feed on a variety of woody plants, including beech, cherry, and oak.
