Pachycheles rudis (Stimpson, 1859), commonly called the thickclaw porcelain crab or big-clawed porcelain crab, is a species of porcelain crab belonging to the family Porcellanidae. This species is found along the East Pacific coast, ranging from Baja California to Kodiak, Alaska. It is a filter feeder that typically inhabits crevices, nooks, and interstices, and it often lives inside discarded barnacle shells lined with Alcyonidium.
