Oxyodes tricolor is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. It was first formally described by Achille Guenée in 1852. This species is found along the Queensland coast in Australia. Oxyodes tricolor has a wingspan of approximately 40 millimeters. Its caterpillars (larvae) feed on the young leaves of multiple types of trees, including Litchi chinensis, Nephelium lappaceum, Cyphomandra betacea, and Theobroma cacao.
