Oxalis rubens Haw. is a small herbaceous plant. It occurs in coastal areas of Australia and New Zealand. Its branches are either erect or ascending, growing up to 35 cm in length and having a dull red-brown colour. The species’ specific epithet rubens comes from Latin, where it means reddish in colour.
