Oxalis polyphylla Jacq., commonly called finger sorrel, is a flowering plant species in the Oxalidaceae family. It is native to the southern Cape Provinces of South Africa. It is a geophyte that grows from a often gummy bulb, can reach a height of 20 cm (8 inches), and grows naturally on both rocky outcrops and flat areas.
