Oxalis exilis, commonly known as least yellow sorrel or shady woodsorrel, is a small herbaceous plant. It is found in Australia and New Zealand, growing mainly on hillsides and in weedy areas. It is the smallest species of the Oxalis genus found in New Zealand. Its leaf color ranges from green to purple, and the length of its capsule and style varies between 4 and 6.5 millimeters.
