About Oxalis barrelieri L.

Oxalis barrelieri L. reaches a height of 20–150 cm. It bears pink flowers with a greenish or yellow base, and its stem leaflets generally have three leaves attached to a central point, per Smith 1985, pages 624–625. It is native to the West Indies, Central America, and South America. It has been introduced to parts of Africa, Sri Lanka, New Guinea, and Southeast Asia. It is regarded as a weed in the Caroline Islands, Mariana Islands, and Samoa.
