About Orthotomus ruficeps (Lesson, 1830)
The ashy tailorbird, scientifically known as Orthotomus ruficeps, is a species of bird that was formerly classified as part of the "Old World warbler" group. It is now placed in the family Cisticolidae. This species can be found in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, and subtropical or tropical mangrove forest.
