Orthonevra splendens (Meigen, 1822) is a species of Diptera. Its wing length ranges from 5.5 to 7 mm. This species has metallic green legs. The dorsal surface of its thorax bears two anterior longitudinal stripes of white dust. The third antennomere is oval in shape.
