Orthodicranum tauricum (Sapjegin) Smirnova, also called Dicranum tauricum, is a species of fork moss that belongs to the family Dicranaceae. It is native to western North America, and has been introduced to Europe. Male individuals of this species are the same size as female individuals. This moss grows in lowland forests, where it can be found growing on rotting logs and tree stumps.
