Orthocephalus saltator is a species of plant bug in the family Miridae, native to the Palearctic realm. Its distribution extends across Europe, reaching as far east as the Caspian Sea and Siberia, and as far south as North Africa. This species feeds on plants in the Asteraceae and Poaceae families, with a particular preference for Hieracium pilosella.
