Oreonectes platycephalus, commonly known as the flat-headed loach, is a species of cyprinid fish. This species occurs in fast-flowing streams across southern China, which includes Hong Kong, as well as in northern Vietnam. It reaches a maximum total length of 10 cm (equivalent to 3.9 inches).
