About Ophioglossum pusillum Raf.
Ophioglossum pusillum is a small, inconspicuous, fleshy perennial plant. It grows from a caudex that is no more than 3 centimeters wide, and produces just one leaf each year. Each leaf is divided into two parts: a thin, pale green, blade-shaped sterile section, and a fertile stalk that is lined with two rows of sporangia.
