Ophiderma flava Goding is a species of treehopper that belongs to the subfamily Smiliinae. This species was first formally described by Frederic Webster Goding in 1893. Ophiderma flava occurs across the eastern part of North America. It inhabits mixed hardwood forests, and is found primarily in areas where Quercus (oak) species grow. Active or collectible individuals of this species can be found from June through August each year.
