About Onychostoma alticorpus (Oshima, 1920)

This species can reach a total length of 50 cm (20 in), but most individuals grow to roughly half this maximum size. Onychostoma alticorpus is endemic to Taiwan, and is found in only five river basins on the island. It is a herbivorous species that lives in streams.
