Oncopeltus sanguinolentus, commonly called the blood-colored milkweed bug, is a species of seed bug that belongs to the family Lygaeidae. This species can be found in both Central America and North America. Similar to several other species in the genus Oncopeltus, it feeds preferentially on milkweed plants, most notably Asclepias subulata.
