This species is distributed across the southern United States, Cuba, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, and Santo Domingo, which places it in the southern United States and southern Central America. As with other species in the genus Oncopeltus, the nymphs of Oncopeltus guttaloides are gregarious, and can often be found living in large clusters on their host plants.
