It is commonly known by multiple common names: the Jayakar lizard, Jayakar's lizard, and Jayakar's Oman lizard. This species is native to Oman and the United Arab Emirates. Its preferred natural habitat is rocky areas located near water, and it occurs at altitudes ranging from sea level up to 1,676 meters (5,499 feet). Omanosaura jayakari is oviparous, meaning it reproduces by laying eggs.
