Oenothera cinerea, commonly known as woolly beeblossom or High Plains beeblossom, is a flowering plant species belonging to the family Onagraceae. It is native to the U.S. states of Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, and has been introduced to New Jersey. This species is a perennial subshrub that can grow up to 2.4 meters (8 feet) tall. Its flowers open white and then fade to pink as they age.
