Oenosandra is a monotypic moth genus, meaning it contains only one species, that belongs to the family Oenosandridae. This sole species is Oenosandra boisduvalii, commonly known as Boisduval's autumn moth. It is distributed in the southern half of Australia, including the island of Tasmania. Both the genus Oenosandra and the species Oenosandra boisduvalii were first formally described by Edward Newman in 1856. This moth has a wingspan that measures approximately 50 millimeters. The larvae of Oenosandra boisduvalii feed on plants from the Eucalyptus genus.
