About Odontocorynus umbellae (J.C.Fabricius, 1802)
Odontocorynus umbellae (J.C.Fabricius, 1802) individuals are either brown or black in color. Adult specimens reach a length of 3–5 millimetres, or 0.12–0.20 inches. The species' rostrum is heavily curved at its base, but is almost straight beneath the apex. In terms of ecology, adult Odontocorynus umbellae feed on flowers, including those of Common Mullein, daisies, and sunflowers. Adults are active between the months of May and September.
