About Ocypode pallidula Hombron & Jacquinot, 1846
Ocypode pallidula, commonly known as the pallid ghost crab, is a small species of ghost crab native to the Indo-Pacific region, where it digs burrows in beach habitat. The width of its carapace is typically around 1 inch, or 25 millimeters. The species' common name 'pallid' means pale. When constructing burrows, this crab flips excavated sand into a fan shape.
