About Oclemena reticulata (Pursh) G.L.Nesom

Oclemena reticulata is a perennial herbaceous plant that grows between 30 and 90 cm (12–35 inches) tall. It produces 12 to 30 leaves, which are evenly distributed along its stem; each individual leaf measures between 10 and 40 mm (0.4–1.6 inches) wide. Leaf margins are entire (or toothed only at the leaf tip) and revolute. This species produces 9 to 40 flower heads. Each flower head contains 7 to 11 ray flowers, which range in color from white to pink, plus 15 to 30 disc flowers. Oclemena reticulata is native to the southeastern United States, where it occurs in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.
