About Notodoris minor Eliot, 1904
Notodoris minor Eliot, 1904 can reach a maximum length of 14 centimeters. Its skin is toughened by tiny spicules. The upper surfaces of its body bear a small number of irregular pustules, while its small rhinophores are smooth and simple in structure. Its branched gills sit midway along the body, and are partially concealed by three large lobes. This species has a yellow base body color, covered entirely by a network pattern of diagonal and transverse black lines. Its gills and rhinophores are yellow, though younger specimens and some adults may have additional black pigmentation. Notodoris minor inhabits the Indo-West Pacific region, and has specifically been recorded in the Philippines, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Mauritius, Tanzania, Oman, Indonesia, Okinawa, Papua New Guinea, and the Great Barrier Reef.
