About Noctua interjecta Hübner
This moth species, Noctua interjecta Hübner, has a wingspan ranging from 31 to 36 millimeters, and forewings measuring 14 to 17 millimeters in length. The forewings are greyish-rufous, and are sometimes darkened by fuscous colouring. Its forewing lines and stigmata are slightly darker than the surrounding wing tissue, and are often very obscure. The hindwing is orange yellow, marked with a broad black border along its margin; the costal and inner margins, a submedian streak extending from the base, and the cell of the hindwing are blackish, while the fringe is yellow. The larva of Noctua interjecta Hübner is pale ochreous with black dots, and has pale lines with darker edges.
