Nigma puella (Simon, 1870) is a species of spider that belongs to the family Dictynidae. It can be found in Europe, the Azores, Madeira, the Canary Islands, and parts of North Africa. Like most species in the Dictynidae family, Nigma puella is a small spider. Females of this species are striking, with a light green abdomen marked by a bold maroon blotch, plus variable amounts of maroon barring. Males of Nigma puella are reddish brown. This spider species builds a horizontal web across the top surface of a leaf.
