Nephrolepis brownii, commonly called the Asian sword fern, is a fern species. It is a perennial herb that can grow up to 3 feet (0.91 meters) tall. This species is native to Asia, and has been introduced to other regions outside its native range. Its native range covers most of southeast Asia, extending north to China and Japan, west to Sri Lanka and India, east to Pacific islands, and south to Australia. It has been introduced to North America, South America, and Hawaii.
