About Neotibicen linnei (Smith & Grossbeck, 1907)

Neotibicen linnei, commonly known as Linne's cicada, is a large-bodied annual cicada species belonging to the genus Neotibicen. It is native to the Eastern United States and Canada. In Oklahoma, N. linnei is most easily distinguished by a bent costal margin at the end of the radial cell, and opercula that are obliquely truncated at their extremities.
