About Neoscona scylla (Karsch, 1879)

Neoscona scylla shows significant variation in its coloration and markings, especially in the patterns on its abdomen. Females of this species can grow to a maximum total body length of 14 mm, while males are smaller, reaching up to 10.5 mm in total length. This species has been documented to occur in Pakistan, Nepal, China, the Russian Far East, Korea, and Japan. It appears to be widely distributed across temperate East Asia.
