Neosarmatium smithi (H.Milne Edwards, 1853) is a species of swimming crab belonging to the genus Neosarmatium. It occurs throughout marine and brackish waters of the Indo-West Pacific. It is a mangrove-dwelling species, with recorded occurrences across South Africa, Madagascar, Mauritius, India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Japan, China, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Australia.
