About Neochetina bruchi Hustache, 1926
Neochetina bruchi, commonly called the chevroned water hyacinth weevil, is a species of marsh weevil that belongs to the beetle family Brachyceridae. It is native to South America, and has been introduced into North America to serve as biological control for the invasive plant Eichhornia crassipes, also known as water hyacinth.
