Nemoptera sinuata Olivier, 1811 is a diurnal species of spoonwing lacewing (also called thread-winged lacewing) that belongs to the spoonwing family Nemopteridae. It is a Balkan-Anatolian species distributed across the Balkan peninsula, where it is specifically found in Bulgaria, East Thrace, Greece, and North Macedonia. It also occurs in Turkey. This species inhabits forests and open grasslands, and individuals may be found flying near river gorges. Adult individuals measure 16 mm in body length, with a wingspan of 55 mm.
